This listing is for TWO Peggy Nisbet Tower Treasures limited edition dolls from c. 1978, plus a membership card and holder and TWO metal doll stands. Included Dolls: 1) Prince Philip with Bone China head, arms, and legs. 2) Queen Elizabeth II in Coronation Robes with bone china head, arms, and legs. **Please note that these dolls have some condition issues and NEED REPAIR (see below)** These dolls are sold AS IS.
The membership card holder has a photo of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip from her Silver Jubilee, as well as a paper chart of the royal succession. The membership card has a handwritten note by Peggy Nisbet and list the doll owner's name (Joan Edwards) and her collection of dolls and what she paid for them. Joan's dolls were registered model # 227 which is written on Philip's arm and on Queen Elizabeth's leg and shoe. Queen Elizabeth's skirt additionally has the words "Nisbet 1978" on it.
Size: These dolls are approximately 9 inches tall
**Condition Issues**
1) Prince Philip - Two of Prince Philips' badges have become unglued (I will include them in a plastic bag). His two bone china arms are in good condition but need reattaching. There is a large dirt mark on his left cheek (I have not attempted to clean) and some general scuffing marks on his hands. (Please see photos.)
2) Queen Elizabeth II - She has a detached left arm that has been severed at the wrist. It needs to be glued together and reattached. I will include it in a plastic bag (I have not attempted repairs). She has some small dark scuff marks on face/hands. She has some fuzz/stickiness/marks on her neck (I have not attempted cleaning).
